Gladys Vera Webb

She was a twin. Her twin brother Christopher died at birth. His grave was dug deep enough for her because she was not expected to survive. She loved Suffolk and always regretted moving to Chelmsford in 1939. She had a very hard life, looking after six children on very little money. She died of old age. Her ashes were distributed in Christchurch Park, Ipswich.

Here are photos of her alone, outside her shoe shop, and with her sister Florence.
